Emergency crews contain blaze in Keles, Tashkent region

8829Reports have emerged on social media about a fire at an ambulance garage in Keles city, Tashkent region. The regional Emergency Situations Department provided details about the incident.
Today, April 4, at 6:20 PM, Tashkent Region’s Emergency Situations Operational Management Center received a report of a fire in two interconnected buildings on Ulughbek Street in the “Farovon” neighborhood of Tashkent district. Firefighting crews arrived at the scene by 6:28 PM and contained the blaze by 6:38 PM. By 7:03 PM, the fire was completely extinguished.
It was reported that the fire damaged a total area of 145 square meters across the buildings and burned three Damas model ambulances that were in disrepair and unsuitable for use. Thanks to the efforts of rescuers, 700 square meters of the buildings were saved.
No injuries or fatalities were reported as a result of the incident. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire and assess the damages.
Earlier, a BYD driver in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent lost control of their vehicle, crashed into a concrete divider, and caused the car to catch fire.
