New head was appointed to the Tashkent Region's Road Traffic Safety Department

10494Colonel Aziz Sadirov has been appointed as the head of the Road Traffic Safety Department for the Tashkent region. This announcement was made by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) Road Safety Service.
A formal meeting was held at the Traffic Safety Department building of Tashkent Region's MDIA, attended by Colonel Sherzod Ibragimov, head of the MIA Road Safety Service, and Major General Tahir Aripov, head of the regional MDIA, alongside other staff members. During the event, Colonel Sadirov was introduced as the new head, a position assigned by the Minister of Internal Affairs.
At the meeting, officials stressed the importance of ensuring road safety, particularly on the highways connecting Tashkent city with surrounding regions. The discussion highlighted the need for enhanced measures to address the increasing speed of vehicles on these roads and criticized the frequency of traffic accidents that have occurred this year.
In related news, in July, Colonel Olim Chorikulovych Saidov, the former head of the Traffic Safety Service of the Public Security Department of the MIA, was dismissed due to a job transfer. His position was filled by Colonel Sherzod Shokirovich Ibragimov. Additionally, Colonel Muhammad Odilov was appointed as the acting head of the Traffic Safety Department of the City MDIA, following the resignation of Rafiqjon Kuldoshevich Jalilov, who led the Traffic Safety Department of Tashkent city.
