New mayor was appointed to the Tashkent district

Sardorbek Kodirovich Ergashev has been appointed as the mayor of the Tashkent district, according to a report from the district administration.
Born in 1986 in Tashkent, Sardorbek Ergashev holds a higher education degree. He graduated from Tashkent State University of Economics in 2011 and from Tashkent University of Architecture and Construction in 2023.
Throughout his career, he has served in various roles, including as the First Deputy Mayor of the Tashkent region, responsible for financial, economic, and poverty reduction issues. He has also held positions as the Head of the District Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Department and as the Head of the Tashkent Region Department of the National Social Protection Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Please note that a new mayor was also appointed to the Furkat district earlier.
