New mayor was appointed for Kogon City

According to the regional government, Mirshakar Muzaffarovich Turaboyev has been appointed as the mayor of Kogon City in the Bukhara region. This appointment follows the transfer of the previous mayor, Hayot Hasanovich Davlatov, to another position.

Mirshakar Turaboyev was born in 1982 in the Peshku district. He graduated from Bukhara State University in 2023, specializing in finance and economics. Turaboyev began his career as an economist in the Bukhara City Finance Department and later served as the Deputy Head of the Regional Finance Department. He also held the position of Head of the Regional Housing and Communal Services Department. Before his recent appointment, he worked as the Deputy Head of the Department at the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Uzbekistan.

This change is part of a broader administrative reshuffling in the region. Hayot Hasanovich Davlatov, the former mayor of Kogon City, was recently appointed as the mayor of Peshku District, replacing Vakhob Kakhhorov, who was dismissed from his post. Turaboyev’s extensive experience in finance and public administration is expected to contribute significantly to Kogon City’s development.
