Aktenge Keunimjayeva, a member of Uzbekistan's national women's wrestling team, earned her spot at the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris, France, as announced by the National Olympic Committee's press service.
Competing in the -50 kg weight category at the Paris-2024 qualification tournament in Kyrgyzstan, Keunimjayeva secured her place among the Olympic contenders.
This achievement marks Keunimjayeva as the first-ever Uzbek athlete to qualify for the Olympic Games in women's wrestling, with Uzbekistan's delegation now boasting a total of 30 Olympic tickets.
