Individuals attempting to gain recognition by rolling through the intersection were apprehended

In Tashkent, measures were taken against young men who rolled wrapped in stretch film across a pedestrian crossing. This incident was reported on the "Millar" program.

The event occurred on Bunyodkor street, Chilonzor district. Three young men born in 2004 explained they undertook this act as a stunt to gain attention. They wrapped themselves entirely in stretch film and attempted to pass through a crowded area with the intention of filming and sharing the video online.

"I agreed to this stunt, knowing the goal was to gain attention and become viral on the internet. I thought we could cross quickly when the traffic light was green," one of the young men stated.

His companion mentioned he filmed the entire process, and shortly after, officers arrived at the scene.

"There was heavy traffic in Chilonzor at that time. When I said we couldn't pass, my friend insisted we could, so we went ahead with wrapping ourselves in stretch film," one of the individuals explained.

Following the incident, one of the boys' fathers expressed regret for his son's actions, vowing to keep a strict eye on him. Another father apologized, emphasizing he opposed seeking fame through humiliating actions and had conveyed this to his son as well.

As a result of the incident, a report was filed by the DIA of Chilonzor district under Articles 183 (Petty hooliganism) and 194 (Failure to comply with the lawful demands of a law enforcement officer) of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, and submitted to the district court.

The court sentenced the boys to 10 days of imprisonment.

It's worth noting that last month, a video circulated on social media showing a young man driving recklessly in an Equinox and claiming family ties to a Ministry of Internal Affairs official. After investigation, the violator, born in 2006, identified as A.I., was found not to be related to an MIA employee. As a consequence, the young man's mother was fined five times the base amount.
