Entrepreneurs will be given financial support depending on their exports

To support exporters from Uzbekistan, a procedure for differentiated financial assistance will be launched.  This is stated in the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan «On measures to further expand the export potential of business entities», adopted on 30 September this year.

The «New Uzbekistan - Country of Competitive Products» program will be implemented by the decree to select exporting enterprises through open competition, turn them into leading exporters and provide comprehensive support.

Exporting enterprises included in the program will receive the following financial assistance from the Export Support Fund, based on the volume of exports over the past 12 months, to finance trade related to exports:

•    up to $1 million with exports ranging from $1 million to $5 million;

•    up to $2 million with exports ranging from $5 million to $10 million;

•    up to 3 million dollars with export volume from 10 million to 15 million dollars;

•    up to 4 million dollars with export volume from 15 million to 20 million dollars;

•    up to 5 million dollars with export volume over 20 million dollars;

•    in the amount of not more than USD 30,000 for the implementation of one international standard and obtaining a certificate.
