New governors were appointed to 4 districts of Surkhandarya

Today, 25 January, new governors were appointed to Termiz, Angor, Muzrabot and Zharkurgan districts of Surkhandarya region.  This was reported by the administration of Surkhandarya region.

At an extraordinary session of the Council of People’s Deputies of Angor district held on the same day, Shahjahan Abdullayev, who is working as the district governor, was relieved of his duties, and Kasim Mardonov was confirmed in his place.  Before that, Mardonov was working as the chief specialist for Kashkadarya and Fergana regions of the Cabinet of Ministers’ Secretariat for Integrated Development of Territories, Communications, Construction and Housing and Communal Economy.

Kasim Mardonov was born on 24 November 1975 in Termiz district.  He graduated from Tashkent State University of Economics in 1997 and is an economist by education.

Also, on the same day, at the extraordinary session of the Council of People’s Deputies of Termiz district, the organizational issue was also discussed.  During the session, Shuhratjon Orinov, who had been working as the district governor until now, was relieved of his duties.  Shuhrat Nazarov was confirmed for the post of district governor.

Shukhrat Nazarov was born on 16 April 1968 in Shorchi district.  He graduated from the Tashkent Institute of National Economy in 1991, and from the Tashkent State Legal Institute in 2002.  He is an economist, and lawyer by education.

Before the appointment, he was working as the acting head of the State Tax Inspection of Chirchik city.

In addition, at the special session of the Council of People’s Deputies of Muzrabot district, Abdurashid Hudayarovich Ismailov, who has been working as the first deputy of the district governor until now, was confirmed as the district governor.  Abdurashid Ismailov was born on 12 July 1977 in Boysun district.  He graduated from Termiz State University in 2005, and Tashkent Financial Institute in 2014.  By education, he specializes in pedagogy, budget accounting and control-finance.

Since 2022, he has been working as the first deputy head of the department of economic development and poverty reduction of the governor of Muzrabot district on issues of finance, economy and poverty reduction.

Bahadir Orokov, who is working as the district governor, was released from his duties at the special session of the People’s Deputies of Zhargorgon District Council.

Elmurod Rozimurodovich Avazov was confirmed for the post of district governor.

Elmurad Avazov was born on 15 July 1988 in Sherabad district.  He graduated from Tashkent State University of Economics in 2010.  By education, he specializes in accounting and auditing, public finance management.

Since 2022, he has been working as the head of the Trade and Services Infrastructure Development Department of the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Alleviation.

It should be recalled that in December 2022, the mayor of Surkhandarya region, Tora Bobolov, was fired, and the prosecutor of Tashkent city, Ulugbek Kasimov, was appointed in his place.
