Five individuals perished in a Surkhandarya accident. Hayot Shamsutdinov, the spokesperson for the General Prosecutor's Office, relayed this information to QALAMPIR.UZ.
Yesterday, on May 12, at approximately 10:30 a.m., a driver identified as D.Sh., born in 1965 in Sherobod district, lost control of Tracker-1 while driving. Consequently, the truck collided with a parked Zil on the right side of the road, resulting in a fatal traffic incident.
One male and four females succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
In response to the incident, the Investigative Department under the regional Department of Internal Affairs has initiated a criminal case under Article 266, Part 3, Clause "a" of the Criminal Code, with preliminary investigations underway.
