Fatal crash in Surkhandarya: Four teens die in Lacetti accident

Four young men died in a tragic road accident in the Altynsay district of the Surkhandarya region. The incident was reported by the Millar program.

According to reports, the accident occurred on July 15 of this year. A teenager born in 2006, who did not possess a driver’s license, took a Lacetti car and drove with four of his classmates as passengers. The teenager reportedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a concrete barrier.

“I was sitting with my friends when a familiar car passed by. Then we heard a loud noise. When we arrived at the scene, we saw the accident. One of them seemed fine. We rushed to help. The others were still alive, but one died before we could pull him from the car,” said an eyewitness.

The underage driver survived the crash. It was revealed that the vehicle had been given to him by an acquaintance to be washed.

It should be recalled that in another fatal incident earlier this month in the Uzun district of Surkhandarya, an 8-year-old girl died after being struck by a Nexia. The accident occurred when a 29-year-old driver failed to slow down near a school zone despite warning signs.
