Two new deputies were appointed to the governor of Surkhandarya

Two deputies were appointed to the governor of Surkhandarya region.  This was reported by the Information Agency of Uzbekistan.

It is noted that Anvar Khomitovich Oripov was appointed to the position of the first deputy of the governor of Surkhandarya region in charge of finance, economy and poverty alleviation.

Before his appointment, he worked in the position of deputy governor of Surkhandarya region – head of regional investment and foreign trade department.

Also, Farhodjon Vahobovich Ismailov was appointed to the position of deputy governor of Surkhandarya region for agriculture and water management issues.

Before his appointment, he worked as a deputy prosecutor of Fergana region.

It should be recalled that on 13 March of this year, within the framework of the visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Surkhandarya, a session of the People’s Deputies Council of Surkhandarya region was held in the city of Termiz with the participation of the head of state.  In it, the President consulted with regional deputies and activists and proposed the candidate of Ulugbek Berdigobilovich Kasimov, who has been acting as regional governor, to the post of governor of Surkhandarya region.
