The asphalt-concrete manufacturing facility in the Surkhandarya region ceased operations for ten days due to air pollution, as reported by the Ministry of Ecology.
According to the Ministry of Ecology, an environmental inspection was carried out at the Denov district road construction enterprise by the Surkhandarya region's Department of Ecology. During the inspection, it was discovered that the "DS 117" 2E asphalt-concrete production equipment at the enterprise was faulty, leading to violations of the Republic of Uzbekistan's Law on Atmospheric Air Protection.
An administrative report was issued under Article 86 of Part 1 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. Additionally, the company's operations were suspended for ten days until the deficiencies are rectified.
