The court ruled in favor of the former court official who had filed a lawsuit

Previously, the ex-head of the office at a Bukhara district court for criminal cases initiated legal action against the same court. The case was heard on March 25 at the Bukhara inter-district court, as reported by QALAMPIR.UZ.

Having served as the clerk from February 8, 2018, to July 17, 2023, the plaintiff was terminated from his position on February 17, 2023, per the court chairman's order. The defendant, the district court, failed to provide the former employee's work record until January 5, 2024, which amounted to a delay of 5 months and 17 days without explanation.

As per the court's ruling, the Bukhara regional Department of Courts under the Oliy Sud of Uzbekistan was directed to compensate the former employee with 52 million soums for unpaid salary and 4 million soums for emotional distress. Additionally, the court decision stated that approximately 2.8 million soums in state duty would be collected from the department for the state's benefit.
