The body of a woman who went missing 10 days ago was found in the canal in the city of Gulistan, Syrdarya region. Hayat Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the General Prosecutor's Office, informed QALAMPIR.UZ about this.


In the city of Gulistan, citizen M.N.'s sister, A.S., born in 1974, applied to the IIB on November 12 of this year. She left her apartment in an unknown direction and stated that she did not return.


On November 22 of this year, citizen Z.Kh. called the police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city and reported that they saw the body of a female citizen at the 53 km mark of the "Dostlik" channel, which flows through the city of Gulistan.


The scene of the incident was examined in procedural order, and a report was drawn up accordingly.


During the investigation, when A.S.'s corpse was shown to her uncle for identification, he recognized the woman from her clothes, eyebrows, and a scar on her abdomen.


Additionally, when the body of the missing citizen S.A. was examined from the outside, it was found that there were no injuries, and a court medical examination was ordered in connection with this situation.


"In connection with this situation, the city prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation, and additional information about the result will be provided," said the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office.
