The contractor of the multi-story buildings being built in poor quality was fined

The head of the contracting organization of a 9-story residential building being built in the Islam Karimov area of Olmaliq, Tashkent region was fined.  This was reported by the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Economy.

It is reported that the head of the contracting organization was fined according to Article 99 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.

Employees of the ministry encountered a number of errors and violations related to the construction of the building.  In particular, during the construction of this residential building, the geologist’s report on the preparation of the pit and the laboratory conclusions on the density of the ground soil layer were not fully formalized in violation of the construction standard requirements in earthquake areas.

When raising all the floors of the facility, the conclusions of the laboratory tests on the strength of monolithic concrete structures were not obtained in violation of the requirements of construction standards in the earthquake zones, and the safety rules of the equipment were not observed at the facility.

Installation of the formwork was completed without tightening the safety tapes.  Also, cases of deviations from the project were observed in the formwork assembly works.

Due to the fact that the construction of the facility was carried out in accordance with the requirements of the design and construction standards, the executive documents specified in the requirements of the execution schemes, passports and certificates confirming the quality of the used construction materials, closed works records have not been fully formalized.

“Today, the construction and assembly work has been temporarily suspended.  “Relevant instructions have been given to the technical supervisor and the contractor in charge of eliminating the above-mentioned violations based on the requirements of the project and construction standards,” the message reads.

It should be recalled that the fittings of a 9-storey house under construction in the city of Olmalik, Tashkent region, were of poor quality, and the laid concrete was moving.
