Kindergarten teacher who beat a 5-year-old boy for memorizing a poem was fired

It was previously reported that a female educator at Preschool Education Organization No. 16 in the Denov district of Surkhandarya region was rude to a 5-year-old child. She allegedly shouted at one of the crying children and beat him with an object in her hand to calm him down. The employment contract with this teacher, A.G., has since been terminated, according to the information service of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Surkhandarya Region.
The incident was investigated by a working group formed by the Department of Preschool and School Education of the Surkhandarya Region. The employment contract with the educator, A.G., was canceled based on the second part of Article 161 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
It should also be noted that the Children's Ombudsman previously informed that the district DIA is currently investigating the situation.
