Today, on July 28, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is participating in the extended board meeting of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Fergana.  This was announced by the press secretary of the President, Sherzod Asadov.

“From the first days of our reforms, we recognized the honoring of human dignity as the highest value, and we started major changes in this regard.  We also sealed the fact that the new Uzbekistan is a legal state in our updated Constitution.  Our only goal is to please our people by ensuring justice and the rule of law,” said the head of state at the beginning of his speech.

It is noted that in the last two years alone, 10 laws, about 40 presidential decrees and decisions, and more than 60 government decisions have been adopted.

Also, the monthly salaries of law enforcement agencies, especially internal affairs officers, were sharply increased and many benefits were given.  More than 30,000 new states have been added directly to the “five in the neighborhood”.

“In fact, ensuring the peace of the population should start from the neighborhood.  But how satisfied are our people with the situation of curbing crime in the neighborhood?”  asked the President.
