Today, March 26, Shakhrisabz Airport resumed regular passenger flights after a two-week closure. This was reported by Uzbekistan Airports.
According to the report, flight US721 marked the reopening of air traffic, landing at Shakhrisabz Airport at 11:17 local time.
For reference, Shakhrisabz Airport temporarily suspended operations on March 13 due to major runway repairs.
It is also worth noting that Andijan Airport, which had been closed for two years, reopened on March 15 of this year.
