On September 28, today, a powerful explosion rocked the warehouse owned by "Inter Logistics" LLC in the "Kurumvicher" branch of the Sergeli district in Tashkent. This tragic incident garnered extensive coverage from various renowned foreign TV channels and publications, drawing worldwide attention to the tragedy unfolding in Uzbekistan.

For instance, the German publication "Deutsche Welle" reported that the shockwave was so intense that it could be felt even by residents in Nurafshan, which is situated 30 kilometers away from the epicenter.

According to the publication, the Russian media suggested that the explosion might have been caused by lightning.

Reuters, on the other hand, stated that a massive plume of smoke enveloped the top of the warehouse, yet the cause of the explosion remained undetermined.

As per the "Mash" Telegram channel, the explosion was attributed to the detonation of electric car batteries within the "Inter Logistics" LLC warehouse, leading to the warehouse's destruction due to the force of the shockwave.

According to Kazakhstan's "Tengrinews" website, the logistics complex where the explosion occurred commenced operations in March 2017 under the auspices of the newly established "Inter Logistics" JV. The facility is named the International Logistics Center - United Cargo Center Corporate and provides services such as goods reception, storage, customs clearance, and shipping.
