13251As you know, on September 28th, Abrorkhoja Abboskhojayev, born in 2006, and living in an apartment building near the area, tragically passed away due to an explosion at a warehouse belonging to "Inter Logistics" LLC, located in the "Quruvchilar" neighborhood of the Sergeli district in Tashkent.
The team from QALAMPIR.UZ visited the accident site today, September 29th, to observe the ongoing restoration and beautification efforts. They also interviewed Shavkat Umrzakov, who is currently serving as the acting mayor of Tashkent, using a microphone.
"I spoke with the parents of the deceased, and they are profoundly saddened. One wouldn't wish the loss of a child even upon their worst enemy. We are all extending our assistance, but we have also assured them that we will meet and discuss their needs once their psychological condition improves. When they are feeling more at ease, and if they express their requirements for help, we will certainly provide assistance," stated Umrzakov.
Continuing his remarks, he mentioned that his benevolent friends and colleagues were not staying silent and were ready to aid anyone in need.
"Many of my friends and acquaintances have been calling and inquiring about how they can help. There is no shortage of kind-hearted individuals. Regional governors have been reaching out, asking how they can contribute. We are grateful that our government has supplied us with all the necessary resources," Umrzakov added.
Abrorkhoja Abboskhojayev, an 11th-grade student at School 305, was asleep in his home at the time of the explosion. The window frame, shattered by the impact, fatally injured the boy's neck. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene and was subsequently transported to the hospital, showing no signs of life.
We would like to remind you that the total number of victims in the Sergeli incident stands at 163. Among them, 24 have been admitted to the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care and its branch in the Tashkent region, the Tashkent City Emergency Medical Hospital, Republican and City Clinical Hospitals No.
