No casualties reported in Sergeli construction site fire

Today, March 23, a fire broke out in a building under construction in the Sergeli district of Tashkent city. This was reported by the capital’s Emergency Situations Department.

According to the report, at 9:18 AM, the Emergency Situations Department received information about a fire on the facade of a building under construction located on Khonobod Street in Sergeli district.

Firefighting teams arrived at the scene by 9:24 AM, contained the fire by 9:39 AM, and fully extinguished it by 9:42 AM.

No casualties or injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

“The cause of the fire and the amount of material damage are currently being determined,” the statement noted.
