Driver dies in an accident in Samarkand

Today, June 13, an accident occurred involving a Damas and a Cobalt, which were traveling on the Tashkent-Samarkand route. Jahangir Sagdullayev, press secretary of the Samarkand Interior Ministry, reported this incident.

According to reports, the accident happened at 06:30 at the 1046th kilometer of the M-39 highway, which passes through the territory of "Almazor" MFY in the Bulung'ur district. The driver of the Damas car, traveling on the Tashkent-Samarkand route, collided head-on with a Cobalt car coming from the opposite direction.

As a result, the driver of the Damas car succumbed to his injuries while being transported to the hospital. A criminal case has been initiated in connection with this incident, and a preliminary investigation is underway.

"We ask all drivers to obey the traffic rules while driving their vehicles," the report states.
