A father and his two sons set several trucks on fire in the Tayloq district of Samarkand region, the regional Department of Internal Affairs reported.

According to officials, on 28 November, a 40-year-old resident of the Beklar neighbourhood, K.A., got into an argument with two acquaintances — 35-year-old G.R. and 34-year-old N.R. — following a personal dispute. After the quarrel, at around 21:50, K.A., together with his 20- and 18-year-old sons, poured gasoline on trucks driven by G.R. and N.R. and set them ablaze.

Police note that the fire was promptly extinguished, preventing damage to nearby vehicles and cargo.

Footage circulating on social media shows the suspect’s sons getting out of a Damas vehicle and setting fire first to two KamAZ trucks, then to another large truck. One man is seen pouring gasoline while the other ignites it.

On 29 November, the Tayloq district Investigation Department opened a criminal case under Article 173, Part 2 of the Criminal Code (intentional destruction or property damage). The suspects have been placed in pre-trial detention as the investigation continues.

It is worth noting that earlier, a man in the Andijan district set fire to his father-in-law’s car in a separate incident.
