A 34-year-old man has been sentenced to 15 days of administrative detention after causing a public disturbance while intoxicated in Samarkand city. The incident was confirmed by the regional police department.
On April 19, the man ignored social conduct norms, shouting random and offensive words in public, disrupting social order and peace. Authorities also discovered that he had previously shared inappropriate content on social media under a pseudonym.
The Samarkand city criminal court found him guilty of minor hooliganism under Article 183 of the Administrative Code and sentenced him to 15 days in detention.
Earlier, another Samarkand resident was sentenced to 10 days in jail after posting a video of himself swimming in a drainage canal ("yama") on social media.
