A new deputy has been appointed to the governor of the Samarkand region

Husan Mirzayevich Tokhtayev has been assigned the role of deputy governor of Samarkand region, focusing on youth policy, social development, and spiritual and educational matters. This information was disclosed by the regional government's press office.

Prior to this appointment, Husan Tokhtayev served as the head of the Department of Youth Affairs Agency in the Samarkand Region. Previously, he held the position of youth leader at Samarkand State University.

Just to recap, Durdona Rahimova, formerly the deputy minister of youth policy and sports, now serves as deputy mayor of Tashkent city, overseeing youth policy, social development, and spiritual and educational matters. Additionally, on February 24, Sardor Polvonov, who led the Khorezm regional department of the Youth Affairs Agency, was appointed governor of the Khiva district in the Khorezm region.
