Bus strikes a pedestrian in Samarkand

In the Samarkand region, a bus hit a pedestrian at an unmarked section of the road, resulting in the pedestrian's death. This information was provided by the regional DIA Road Safety Department.
The incident occurred on July 13 at 13:00 at the 94th kilometer of highway 4R-48 "Zarafshon Trakt," passing through the M. Ulugbek neighborhood of the Kattaqorgon district. The driver of Midibus SAZ NP 21 was traveling in the direction of "Payshanba-Kattaqorgon City" and collided with a pedestrian moving from left to right on an unmarked part of the road.
Subsequently, the pedestrian was taken to the district medical association but succumbed to injuries despite medical intervention.
The Investigation Department of the Kattaqorgon District DIA has initiated a criminal case and is currently conducting preliminary investigations.
It is noteworthy that on July 11, a special fire rescue vehicle was involved in a traffic accident in the city of Tashkent.
