Saida Mirziyoyeva highlights joint initiatives with Kazakhstan

4397On March 18, Saida Mirziyoyeva, the eldest daughter of Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and a Presidential Assistant, met with Yerlan Karin, the State Advisor of Kazakhstan. Mirziyoyeva shared details of the meeting on her Telegram channel.
During the discussion, preparations for the upcoming “Central Asia – European Union” summit and the Aral Culture Summit, both scheduled for April, were reviewed.
“We exchanged views on organizing and preparing for the ‘Central Asia – European Union’ summit and the Aral Culture Summit, which will take place in April,” Mirziyoyeva wrote.
The meeting also highlighted the active collaboration between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in advancing joint initiatives within the framework of major international events.
“Special attention was given to coordinating efforts and sharing experiences in regulating social platforms,” Mirziyoyeva added.
After the meeting, both sides agreed to maintain close communication to fully implement agreements reached between the leaders of the two nations.
The “Central Asia – European Union” summit will be held in Samarkand on April 3-4, chaired by Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Leaders from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, as well as European Council President Antonio Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, are expected to attend.
Additionally, the first Samarkand Climate Forum will take place on April 4-5 at the “Silk Road Samarkand” Congress Center. The forum will bring together leaders from Central Asian countries, including Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, alongside representatives from the EU, the UN, international financial institutions, and leading environmental organizations.
On March 17, Saida Mirziyoyeva attended the ballet performance “Lazgi: Dance of Love and Soul” at the Abay National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Kazakhstan.
