The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has departed for Berlin on a business visit today, September 28, upon the invitation of the Federal Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz. This information was announced by the Presidential Press Service.

"As previously stated, our head of state will conduct a series of official and business meetings in the capital of Germany and participate in events involving the heads of state from Central Asia and Germany," the report stated.

Joining Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the leaders of the key Central Asian states, including President Kasim-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan, President Sadir Japarov of Kyrgyzstan, President Emomali Rahman of Tajikistan, and President Serdar Berdymukhamedov of Turkmenistan, are also visiting Germany.

On September 29, Chancellor Olaf Scholz will host the Presidents of the five Central Asian countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
We would like to remind you that on September 19, the inaugural summit of the Central Asian leaders and the United States of America in the "C5+1" format was held in New York. It was attended by the Presidents of the USA, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Following the summit, the "Forbes" publication highlighted the significant role that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan is expected to play in the new geostrategic initiative of US President Joe Biden.
