New mayor was appointed to Pastdargom

The regional administration has announced the appointment of a new mayor for the Pastdargom district in the Samarkand region.
At an extraordinary session of the District Council of People's Deputies, an organizational issue was addressed. Vahobjon Abduganiyevich Murodqobilov, who has served as district governor since 2023, requested to step down and was subsequently released from his duties.
During this session, deputies approved Sherzod Shukhratovich Rahmonov as the new governor of the Pastdargom district.
Sherzod Rahmonov, born in 1991 in the Narpay district of the Samarkand region, previously served as the mayor of Narpai district.
Additionally, it should be noted that Sherbek Erkinovich Boronov was recently appointed as the mayor of Narpay district.
