Otabek Umarov visits National Football Center construction

On January 15, a delegation led by Otabek Umarov, Deputy Chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, visited the construction site of the National Football Center in the Tashkent region. This was reported by the press service of the National Olympic Committee (NOC).

In addition to the National Football Center, another sports project is underway in the Yukari Chirchik district of the Tashkent region. Both the leadership of the National Olympic Committee and the Football Association of Uzbekistan are closely involved in overseeing these developments.

According to Ravshan Irmatov, First Vice-President of the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA), the National Football Center will feature a modern hotel accommodating 280 people, a training and research center for football specialists, a base for national teams, a Republican Football Academy, and a sports medicine and rehabilitation center.

Otabek Umarov, Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia and First Deputy Chairman of the NOC, emphasized that the project will play a key role in advancing Uzbek football. He also suggested incorporating international best practices into the project. During the visit, the officials thoroughly inspected the facility and exchanged ideas on how to enhance operational efficiency.
