The governor of the city of Tashkent Jahongir Ortihojaev presented a car “Spark” to a citizen who proposed opening a chess school. The incident occurred at a mobile reception with the participation of the governor in Sergeli.
Citizen Sirojiddidin, who has a speech impediment, participated at the mobile reception on 10 April, and informed the governor that he intends to open a chess school.
Having listened to his proposal, the governor Ortihojaev said that he would build a chess school in the park zone of the Sergeli district and the citizen with the application would manage it. It was also added that the citizen wouldn’t pay rent.
The governor then asked the citizen if he could drive a car or not, and after receiving confirmation, Ortihojaev instructed his subordinates to present a “Spark” to the citizen on behalf of the president.
The citizen named Sirojiddin says that more than 35 of his students have won both world and Asian competitions. International Grand Master Javokhir Sindorov was also one of his first students. In 2008, Sirojiddin was awarded the Order “Fame.”
