Pakhtakor announces departure of Dragan Ceran

Pakhtakor's Serbian player, Dragan Ceran, is parting ways with the club. This was confirmed by Pakhtakor chairman Jahongir Ortiqkhujaev during a press conference with the media.
Ortiqkhujaev shared, "I would recommend Dragan Ceran to end his career and start coaching. We do not see him in Pakhtakor's plans for the next year."
Ceran, 37, has been with the Tashkent club since 2018. During his time at Pakhtakor, he won the Uzbek championship 5 times and claimed the country's cup and Super Cup 2 times. His current market value is estimated at 200 thousand euros according to the Transfermarkt portal.
It is also worth noting that the renovation of the Pakhtakor stadium was previously announced.
