The winners of the “Open budget” are announced

The winners of the second season of the "Open budget" project have been announced. This was reported on the project portal.

According to this, in the second season of the "Open budget" project, 49,464 initiatives were put forward from 9,436 neighborhoods, of which 33,489 were approved and 15,975 initiatives were rejected. In the second season, a total of more than 18 million votes were cast.

In the end, 1,182 projects from 1,007 neighborhoods were declared winners. The budget allocated for them is 1 trillion 308 billion 645 million 965.5 thousand soums.

Tashkent region (122 projects) was the leader in terms of the number of winning projects among the regions, while Jizzakh region contributed the least - 50 projects.

Road repair (446), general education schools (236), and healthcare institutions, along with the development of the material and technical base, were the leading categories among the winning projects.
