Voting for the 2nd season of “Open Budget” commences

The voting phase for the 2nd season of the "Open Budget" in 2024 has officially begun, as reported by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

According to the report, the voting process will remain open until 23:59 on August 31.

Citizens have several convenient methods available to cast their votes, including:

- The official "Open Budget" portal webpage;
- The mobile application of the portal;
- The official Telegram bot.

For the current season, 3 trillion sums have been allocated from the state budget to fund projects. The maximum value for each project is set at 1 billion 360 million sums.

As a point of reference, starting from March 2024, the "one citizen - one vote" system was introduced to foster a healthy competitive environment in the voting process during the initiative budgeting phase. In collaboration with the Center for the Management of Digital Government Projects, a system for citizen identification and the acceptance of a single vote per citizen has been implemented in the voting process.
