A total of 1,772 winning projects have been announced for the 2nd season of the "Proactive Budgeting" process in 2024. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
According to the report, 9,081,610 citizens participated in the voting process nationwide. Based on the results, 1,772 projects worth 2 trillion 139 billion soums were declared winners. For this season, 2 trillion 271 billion 719 million soums were allocated from district and city budgets. You can review the winning projects through the link below.
The voting phase, which began on August 22 and concluded on August 31 at 23:59, lasted for 10 days. During this period, 39 complaints were received regarding forced voting. The largest number of complaints came from the Fergana region (7). Additionally, 6 complaints were received in Tashkent, and 5 each in Namangan and Jizzakh regions. Most complaints were related to secondary schools (19) and medical organizations (16). All received appeals have been forwarded to the relevant district (city) Councils of People's Deputies for review.
