Voting begins for the “Initiative Budget”

Today, March 11, the voting stage of the first season of the "Initiative Budget" for 2025 has begun, as reported by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

The voting process will continue until March 20, 2025, at 23:59.

Citizens can participate in the voting process through three methods:

1. The "Open Budget" portal’s website;
2. The portal's mobile application (available on Android and iOS);
3. The official Telegram bot.

For your information, projects for the first season of the "Initiative Budget" 2025 were submitted between February 1 and 20. Votes will be collected for the selected projects from March 11 to 20, with the winners to be announced on March 21, which coincides with the Nawruz holiday.

It is also important to note that starting in March 2024, the "one citizen - one vote" system has been introduced to create a fair competitive environment during the initiative budgeting process. In collaboration with the Digital Government Project Management Center, a citizen identification system will be used during the voting process, ensuring that each citizen casts only one vote.

Additionally, the second season of the "Initiative Budget" will begin on July 15 and will run for 30 days. The winners of the second season are scheduled to be announced on September 1.
