An individual from Uzbekistan involved in human trafficking was apprehended in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, following a decade-long international search. The Astana city police department's press service confirmed the arrest.
As per the department's statement, law enforcement detained the fugitive, who had been sought internationally for ten years due to his involvement in human trafficking.
The report states that a 42-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan has been implicated in human trafficking for a decade and has been on the wanted list.
Presently, the man is held in a temporary detention center while arrangements for his extradition are underway.
