Internationally sought-after Uzbek national was apprehended in Turkey

A citizen hailing from Uzbekistan, sought by Interpol on a Red Alert for alleged fraud, was apprehended by Istanbul police, as reported by local media.
According to the Gungoren District Police Department, Security Bureau officers detained an individual near a local shopping center due to suspicious behavior. The detained individual, identified as Eldor A., was revealed to be the subject of an Interpol Red Notice at the behest of Uzbekistan's authorities.
A 36-year-old Uzbek national, prohibited from entering Turkey by three separate rulings, has sought asylum.
Eldor A., reportedly subject to an international arrest warrant for fraud, was handed over to the Istanbul Regional Immigration Department for deportation following legal proceedings
