Another wanted Uzbek detained in Russia

10175An Uzbek citizen, who had been on the run after committing theft and evading judicial authorities, was recently detained in Russia. This was reported by the Bukhara Regional Department of Internal Affairs.
The individual, identified as B.J., born in 1994, was accused of committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code (robbery by embezzlement or theft). After the crime, he went into hiding, evading investigation by judicial authorities. The Karakul District Court had declared him wanted. B.J., who is registered in the "Yangiturmush" neighborhood of the Karakul district, has a prior criminal record.
Following an operational search, the Uzbek citizen was located and detained in the Moscow region of Russia. His extradition to Uzbekistan has since been arranged.
This comes after another Uzbek citizen, who had been previously wanted for fraud, was arrested in St. Petersburg, Russia.
