New mayor was appointed to Ohangaron district

6420Doniyor Madirimov has been appointed as the governor of the Ohangaron district in the Tashkent region, according to an announcement from the regional administration.
Prior to this appointment, Madirimov served as an assistant to the Tashkent region's governor, focusing on local industry development.
Doniyor Mamatsaliyevich Madirimov was born in Tashkent in 1979. He holds a higher education degree, having graduated from the National University of Uzbekistan in 1999 and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2019.
Madirimov has held several significant positions, including head of the Department of Statistics for Tashkent city, positions within the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, deputy mayor of Shaikhontohur district, head of Tashkent region's foreign economic relations, investment and trade department, deputy mayor of Syrdarya region, and head of a department at the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan.
It is also noteworthy that Erkin Muhiddinov, who had been leading the Ohangaron district since August 2023, has now been appointed as the first deputy governor of the Tashkent region.
