Tashkent streets near City Park will be closed for holiday events

Certain streets in Tashkent will be closed due to New Year's holiday events, according to the Road Traffic Safety Department of the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs.
As part of the planned New Year's events in the Tashkent City Park located in the Shaykhantohur district, restrictions on vehicle movement will be imposed within the park area. This includes Ukchi, Yangi Tashkent, and Zargar streets, which will remain closed from December 25 until January 10, 2025. Drivers are advised to use adjacent streets during this period.
It is also worth noting that earlier, part of Taras Shevchenko Street in the Mirabad district of Tashkent was reported to be closed for a month due to ongoing work.
