Wild wolves sighted in Tashkent region's Kirkkizabad neighborhood

13389Wolves have been spotted in the Kirkkizabad neighborhood of the Piskent district in the Tashkent region, according to the district administration's press service.
The report highlighted that Kirkkizabad, being a mountainous area, often experiences visits from wild animals, including wolves, during winter snowfall.
In response, a specialized team of wildlife catchers has been deployed to locate and neutralize the wolves. Efforts are currently underway to ensure the safety of residents and address the situation.
Captured wolves are planned to be relocated to a zoo, where conditions resembling their natural habitat will be created.
Previously, similar incidents occurred in the Sariasia district of the Surkhandarya region, where wolves descended from the mountains into villages.
