A woman who wanted to pay her baby for 10 million sums was arrested in Navoi region. This was reported by the regional DIA information service.
K.R., a resident of Navbahor district. He valued his newborn baby at 10 million soms. K.R. was caught with physical evidence while selling her baby to Z.S. in the neighboring neighborhood for 10 million soums.
A criminal case has been initiated against the woman under Part 3 of Article 135 (Human Trafficking) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and investigations are underway.
