Reports circulated on social media about the forced sale of concert tickets to teachers and staff at schools and preschools in Namangan district. The Namangan Regional Department of Preschool and School Education has addressed the situation.

An operational working group was formed to investigate the claims. The inquiry revealed that an employee of the district Department of Preschool and School Education had arbitrarily engaged in ticket sales. The funds collected have since been returned to the affected employees.

As a disciplinary measure, the employee received a reprimand (“haifsan”). The regional department emphasized its commitment to preventing any form of unlawful or forced monetary collection within educational institutions.

In a related incident, it was previously uncovered that a school principal in the Chartok district was involved in gambling activities within his office. As a result, the employer terminated the principal’s contract for gross violations of internal labor regulations.
