2 people were burned as a result of a gas explosion in Namangan

There was a gas explosion in an apartment in Namangan.  As a result, 2 people were burned. This was reported by the regional emergency department.

Today, 13 January at 02:30 a.m., a gas explosion occurred in one of the apartments in the Namangan district "Navroz" neighborhood.

As a result of the explosion, the daughter of the owner of the apartment, born in 1992, suffered 70% burns, and the son who lives with her, born in 2014, suffered 8% burns.

The explosion was caused by the open gas valve of the wood and natural gas stove.  The citizen came home, turned on the electric light, and a flash occurred due to the mixture of gas and air.

After the explosion, there was no fire, and the window of the house was blown out.  Firefighting crews were not involved at the scene.

It is reported that two members of the same family, a married couple, were burned in a fire that occurred in the Kosonsoy district of the Namangan region.
