Fire breaks out in Namangan apartment building (video)

On April 29, a fire broke out in an apartment building in Namangan, according to the regional Emergency Situations Department.
The fire was reported to the city’s emergency services at 10:36 a.m. The fire rescue crew arrived at the scene on Boborakhim Mashrab Street in the “Obihayot” mahalla at 10:41 a.m. By 10:44, the fire was contained and it was fully extinguished at 11:02 a.m.
The fire damaged some household appliances and documents within an area of 40 square meters. However, no injuries were reported.
Emergency services managed to save 80 square meters of the property from being damaged.
"A preliminary investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway," the report stated.
It should be noted that a day earlier, on April 28, a fire occurred at a construction materials warehouse in Tashkent’s Mirabad district.
