New ambassador of Mongolia to Uzbekistan commences his duties

Daadanhuu Batbaatar, recently appointed as Mongolia's ambassador to Uzbekistan, has officially presented his credentials to Bakhtiyor Saidov, according to a report by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"We congratulated Mr. Daadanhuu Batbaatar and accepted copies of his credentials. Today's agenda includes upcoming high-level meetings, the active promotion of economic diplomacy, the development of joint prospective projects, and the fostering of close cooperation in all fields. We wish Mr. Ambassador success in his role in Uzbekistan," stated the ministry.

President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh is scheduled for a state visit to Uzbekistan from June 23-26 at the invitation of Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The visit's agenda includes high-level talks in Tashkent, focusing on the further expansion and strengthening of Uzbekistan-Mongolia friendship and multilateral cooperation. Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh previously visited Samarkand in September 2022 to participate in the 22nd meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
