Today, April 23, Mufti Nuriddin Khaliqnazarov, the chairman of the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan, was accepted as a member of the Supreme Council of the Islamic World Association. This information was reported by the Muslim Office's information service.

It is noted that the 46th meeting of the Supreme Council of the Islamic World Association, considered the most influential organization in Saudi Arabia, took place. During the meeting, a decision was made to accept Nuriddin Khaliqnazarov as a member of the Council.

"This membership marks the fourth major organization for the mufti during his career. These include the International Council of Muslim Scholars (Qatar), the Council of Muslim Scholars (UAE), the Academy of Islamic Fiqh (Saudi Arabia), and now the Supreme Council of the Islamic World Association (Saudi Arabia)," the report stated.

Ministers from countries such as Saudi Arabia, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Turkey, Malaysia, and Indonesia, along with well-known scholars, renowned muftis, professors, scientists, state and religious figures, and leaders of international Islamic organizations participated in this international conference.

During the conference, decisions were made to establish peace and tranquility worldwide, particularly to address the situation in Palestine and the Gaza region through peaceful means, to achieve unity among the Islamic Ummah, to address unpleasant situations in some Muslim countries, to protect the rights of Rohingya Muslims, and to prevent the desecration of religious symbols. Additionally, crucial issues such as the absolute avoidance of actions like burning the Holy Quran and preventing Islamophobic behavior were discussed.
