Mohigul Hamdamova secured third place on the podium with a throw of 32.75 meters in the F57 discus throw event at the 2024 Paris Summer Paralympic Games in France.
With this achievement, Mohigul Hamdamova earned the bronze medal in the competition. As a result, the number of medals won by the Uzbekistan delegation reached eight: 3 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze.
It is worth noting that earlier, in the F12 shot put event, Elbek Sultanov from Uzbekistan recorded a distance of 16.45 meters. With this, Sultanov won the gold medal at the Paralympics and became the champion.
