Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Viktor Orban

Today, 10 November, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban within the framework of the summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Samarkand.  This was reported by the Press Service of the President of Uzbekistan.

Following the agreements reached the highest level, the issues of expanding practical cooperation and strengthening bilateral strategic partnership relations were thoroughly discussed at the meeting.

It was noted with satisfaction that active business relations, including the joint business forum currently being held with the participation of leading companies and enterprises of the two countries, are yielding effective results.

Particular attention is paid to the promotion of joint investment projects in the fields of industry, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, banking and finance, transport and logistics, and other priority areas.  It was agreed to accelerate the creation of mechanisms for financial support of business initiatives.

The importance of actively continuing humanitarian exchange programs, first of all in the fields of education, culture, and cinematography, was emphasized.
